Reforestation initiative - Planting Trees
We think it's only fair to put back what others have taken out.
In addition to the environmental benefits of stone paper, Karst has partnered with the One Tree Planted Foundation. Though we’re already saving 18 timber trees for every ton of stone paper made, we’re also actively trying to make up for the negative ecological impact of the pulp and paper industry.
Collaborating with the One Tree Planted Foundation has allowed us to do just that. For each order, a portion of sales will be used to help plant trees in North America, South America, Asia or Africa.
One Tree Planted gives us the ability to easily plant trees around the world. One Tree Planted Foundation have partnered with amazing NGOs worldwide that have collectively planted millions of trees. With years of experience, these key partners work hand-in-hand with local communities to ensure that proper native tree species are planted in the most sustainable manner.
